IT Support Assistant Apprentice ()Salary: £24,310
Working hours: 8am – 4pm (Monday to Thursday) 8am – 3.30pm (Friday)
Hours per week: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year
Minimum age: 18+ due to the confidential nature of the role
Start Date: September 2026
Do you want to gain a range of technical ICT experience? Are you keen to develop your skills within a school setting? If so, look no further than the ICT Technician Apprentice vacancy working in conjunction with the training provider PETA. There is the potential for a full-time role offered to the suitable candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship.
Full training towards Level 3 Information Communication Technician:
Support Technician will be provided. You will complete a 22-month apprenticeship which will include 25 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6-8 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
Qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English at least grade 4/C are required. It is desirable for applicants to be first aid trained or willing to be trained.
