Geography Teacher

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our thriving Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspirational teacher to foster a love of Geography, helping students to understand the world around them while developing their knowledge of both physical and human geography.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and inspiring young people to achieve their full potential.

• Deliver engaging and ambitious Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically about global issues and the changing world in which they live.
• Plan and deliver a broad, challenging and inclusive curriculum that enables all students to make strong progress.
• Use assessment effectively to support learning, maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour, and contribute positively to the continued success of the Humanities faculty and the wider school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be on track to achieve it.
• Excellent subject knowledge of Geography with a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
• Effective communication skills, ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues, and a commitment to collaborative working.
• Committed to continually developing teaching practice and to providing an outstanding education and inspiring every student to achieve their very best.
