We are seeking caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants to join a supportive specialist education setting in the Portsmouth area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils aged 2-19 with a range of learning, communication, and complex health needs during lunchtime, helping to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment throughout the school day.
The RoleAs a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant, you will support children and young people with a range of special educational needs during lunchtime activities and routines. You will play an important role in promoting positive social interaction, independence, wellbeing, and a safe, engaging lunchtime experience.

Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, between 11.00am - 2.00pm
- Experience supporting individuals with additional needs is advantageous
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience working in a UK School
- Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional, child-related references
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
- In-house Training and Development Team
