We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated A Level Media Studies Lecturer to join our thriving Visual Arts department at the Sixth Form Campus of City of Portsmouth College. Media Studies sits within a collaborative and creative faculty alongside subjects such as Art and Design, Photography, Film Studies and other visual and digital disciplines, providing students with a rich and dynamic learning experience.

The successful candidate will be passionate about developing students' critical understanding of media, contemporary culture and digital communication, while fostering creativity, analytical thinking and academic excellence. Working within a highly supportive team, you will deliver engaging lessons, contribute to curriculum development and help students achieve outstanding outcomes, preparing them for progression to higher education and careers within the creative and media industries.

• To teach on a range of programmes, providing high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices and groups in line with the College’s strategic priorities and objectives.
• To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement, and success.
• To contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, relevant curriculum and programmes. Curriculum Development responsibilities include:
