About The Role

Join PETA's growing Associate Instructor network and help develop safe, skilled operators across a wide range of industries. Working alongside our experienced Health & Safety training team, you will deliver high-quality accredited and non-accredited forklift operator training courses to corporate clients nationwide.

Training assignments will primarily involve:

• Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck training
• Reach Truck training
• Refresher and conversion training
• Novice and experienced operator instruction
• Practical operator assessments
• Associated theory and practical testing

There may also be opportunities to deliver additional courses such as:

• Pedestrian Stacker Truck training
• Powered Pallet Truck training
• Slinging and Lifting
• Overhead Crane training
• Manual Handling and Plant Safety training

Due to the nationwide nature of our client base, instructors must be prepared to travel throughout the UK and stay overnight where required.

To succeed within our associate instructor network, you will need excellent communication skills, a professional approach, and the ability to deliver engaging and effective practical training.

Applicants should possess:

• Proven experience delivering Fork Lift Truck training
• Current ITSAR, RTITB, NPORS, AITT or equivalent accreditation
• Strong practical operational knowledge of forklift operations and workplace safety
• Excellent delegate engagement and coaching skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and professionally at customer sites

The following would also be advantageous:

• PTLLS, AET or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience delivering overhead crane, slinging and lifting, or plant safety training
• Experience working within warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments
• Multiple truck category accreditations
