Working as an Economics Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will provide academic and classroom support to pupils, working alongside experienced teachers and helping students develop their confidence with numeracy, analysis and independent learning.

Your strong academic background will also allow you to support pupils with wider subjects where appropriate. Full Academic Year | £500 £ 550 per week What the school can offer an Economics Graduate Teaching Assistant:

Experience with in a secondary-school environment. The opportunity to use your Economics degree to support pupils academically. One-to-one and small-group intervention opportunities. Experience working alongside experienced teachers. Valuable classroom and behaviour-management experience. A strong foundation for graduates considering Teacher Training or education-based careers. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils during lessons across the secondary curriculum. Providing one-to-one and small-group academic support. Helping pupils develop their numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills. Supporting students with independent work and revision. Working alongside teachers to reinforce key concepts. Encouraging pupils to become more confident and independent learners. Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress and engagement. The successful Economics Graduate Teaching Assistant will:
Hold a 2:1 degree or above in Economics or a closely related subject. Have strong A-Levels or equivalent academic qualifications. Have excellent numerical and analytical skills. Be confident communicating complex ideas clearly. Have an interest in working with secondary-age pupils. Be considering a future career in education, teaching or a related field.
