IT and Core Subjects Tutor

TP-Tutorsare currently seeking a dedicated and experienced IT and Core Subjects Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition for pupils in the Warrington (WA1) area.

This role involves supporting students across Information Technology, English, Maths, and other core subjects
, helping them overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils is essential.

The role:

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions in IT and core subjects
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual student needs
  • Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
  • Identify learning gaps and implement targeted intervention strategies
  • Monitor progress and complete session reports following each lesson

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/tutoring experience
  • Strong knowledge of IT and core subjects curriculum
  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN (essential)
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: £25-£30+ per hour (dependent on experience)
