Quantity Surveyor - Utilities

Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, or a Quantity Surveyor with at least 2 years’ hands-on experience looking for your next move with a progressive company?

Our client is a leading national utility company who are working on long-term utility framework contracts. They are looking to bring in a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to support and drive project performance.

Salary to £50k | Mileage Allowance | Stakeholder Pension | Life Assurance | 28 Days Holiday

Quantity Surveyor Key Essentials:

· Reporting to the Managing Q.S, as Quantity Surveyor your role will involve managing commercial aspects across utilities projects

· Administer NEC contracts, taking a lead on change management, compensation events, and variations

· Cost forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management

· Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors

· Supporting procurement and subcontract management

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience

· Background in the utilities sector (power, water, telecoms, or civils)

· Strong NEC contract knowledge, particularly change / compensation events

· Confident user of MS Excel

· Commercially aware, organised, and proactive

· Ambition to develop and progress within a growing business
