Your mission
We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to join our passionate team and work hands-on with cutting-edge SCIENION and CELLENION technologies at the forefront of life Scienion innovation. This is a field-based role with extensive travel across the UK and Ireland, with further opportunities to support projects in other regions – perfect for someone who thrives on variety, challenge and impact.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be a vital link between our customer portfolio and our development team ensuring our advanced systems deliver maximum value while representing the company in a professional and collaborative manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and setup of the SCIENION and CELLENON product range.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and on-site customer repairs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex system issues.
- Implement system updates and optimise performance for efficiency and reliability.
- Provide on-site or remote technical assistance.
- Act as the technical interface between customers and internal teams.
- Prepare technical quotations and service reports for customers.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ISO accreditation.
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, electronic or biomedical preferred) or comparable qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in a related field or in-house service role.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of flexibility, independence, and willingness to travel up to 60%.
- Fluent English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Must have a UK driver’s license and access to a car.
