Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Location: 3days/w onsite in Stevenage (ideally), otherwise Newport or Portsmouth.

Methods is looking for a Senior Technical Specialist deep understanding of Net App, responsible for executing and technically validating all Compute, Virtualisation, Storage and Backup activities.
Key skills needed:
- Net App.
- storage replication.
- Veeam for backup.
- Understanding of key tasks to commission and decommission Net App systems.
Some of the activities include:
- Deliver and manage Net App SAN and Filers. Some are being replaced and some need upgrade to pass to managed service
- Assess and remediate storage & backup obsolescence
- Execute and coordinate Ransomware Wave 1 & Wave 2 technical activities
- Manage and fulfil infrastructure requests (IPs, DNS, Firewall, VLANs, installations)
- Supervise and coordinate vendors and Build Factory technical inputs
- Contribute to and produce BRDs and technical documentation
Highly experienced hands on infrastructure engineer with deep technical expertise across secure, air gapped and defence environments.
