This role plays a vital part in ensuring operational effectiveness, directly contributing to systems that protect lives and support national security.

As a Combat Systems Engineer, you will be involved across the full lifecycle of complex defence systems, from development through to integration, testing, and acceptance. Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you will support the delivery of a high-profile naval programme, contributing to:

• Systems integration and verification activities
• Test planning, execution, and reporting
• Supporting customer requirements and capability delivery
• Producing technical evidence and documentation
• Engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in sea trials aboard Royal Navy ves
sels, including potential international travel.

• Deliver systems engineering activities across complex projects
• Develop and execute test and integration plans
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Produce and review technical documentation
• Report progress to project leads and customers
• Support trials and evaluation in real-world environments.

You will be based at a leading UK technology hub focused on advanced engineering, modelling, and simulation. The site is dedicated to ensuring complex systems are designed, tested, and delivered to meet demanding operational requirements.
