Mechanical Integration and Assembly Technician – Portsmouth, United Kingdom
Location & Work Arrangement- Portsmouth
- On Site – Full time, AM/PM shifts
- Clearance:
Clearable - Experience Level: Mid-level
- Perform mechanical integration and assembly of aerospace systems.
- Support AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) activities.
- Follow engineering drawings, manuals and technical instructions accurately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure correct component installation.
- Report and document assembly progress and any technical issues.
- Competent in mechanical assembly and integration techniques.
- Ability to follow technical drawings, schematics and assembly instructions.
- Experience in multi‑disciplinary engineering teams.
- Willingness to work AM/PM shifts on site full time.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical integration or assembly, preferably in aerospace or high‑precision manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with AIT processes and aerospace standards.
- Experience in component installation, jigs or tooling.
- Knowledge of inspection and quality procedures.
