Theyhaveexperiencewithindefence,nuclear,space,securityandtransportsectorsoftheUKandNATOwhichenablestheirteamtoprovidesolutionstosupportadiversestakeholdergroupandcommunityofvaryingsizesandcomplexity.

youwillbeworkingwithclientstoanalysetheirproblems;capture requirements;create architectures;identifypotentialoptions;assesssolutionsusingsystemsanalysismethods;andmakerecommendationsbasedonrobustevidence.

Projectswilltypicallybeinsupportofresearchandprocurementactivitiesinthedefenceandsecuritysectorbutmayincludeworkinothersectorsandgovernmentdepartments.

Youwillhaveabackgroundpreferablyin Space Systems and C4 ISystems,Digital Engineering,Network Systems,Telecommunications,Defence Systems.

• Delivering/leadingtechnicalconsultingprojects.
• Usingsystemsengineeringtotacklerealworldproblems,applyingtoolsandtechniques,anddevelopingnovelapproacheswhererequired.
• Applyinganddevelopingsystemsengineeringmethods,toolsandtechniques,includingdevelopingandapplyingnovelapproacheswhererequired.
• Workingorganicallyincustomerteamstodeliverhighqualitysystemsengineeringadvice&artefacts.
• Buildingnewrelationshipsandmaintainingcurrentcustomerrelationships.
• Assisting/leadinginidentifyingandwinningworkforanewandgrowingconsultancy.

Thesuccessfulcandidatemustbeabletodemonstratethefollowingessentialanddesirableattributes:

• Educatedtodegreelevel,orequivalentrelevantexperience.
• Abilitytouseandapplyboth‘soft’and‘hard’systemsengineeringtechniquestosupportsystemdesign/development,businessdecisionmaking,policy development,and/or research.
• Development,application,anddeliveryofsystemsengineeringmethods,toolsandartefacts.
  
  Knowledge and Understandingofthe Systems Engineering Lifecycle .].
• Buildingandmaintainingclientandstakeholderrelationships.
• Authoringtechnicalreports,developingsystemsengineeringartefacts,andpresentingtocustomers.
• Experience within Space Systems ,C4

• Membershipofrelevantprofessionalinstitutionandadesireforfurtherprofessionaldevelopment.
• Space Systemsdevelopmentor Space Operation
• ITILoreTOM
• Defininganalysinganddocumentingconceptsandarchitecturalrequirements(incl.useofDOORS)
• Satellite Systems Toolkit (STK)
