The Financial Analyst supports the Finance Business Partnering teams in providing excellent day‑to‑day support to budget holders, including advice, pre‑award costings, post‑award management, the provision of value‑added analysis, financial modelling and general administration.

The role contributes to the full range of financial activity within a faculty/professional service including month/year end activities (revenue and capital) and the end‑to‑end financial support to all aspects of research, innovation and commercial applications and awards.

Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.

This appointment is a fixed‑term contract for 6 months, or upon or the earlier return of the substantive post holder.
