Commercial Finance Manager

Our client, a multi-national Distribution Group based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, has a newly created opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager. The role will combine strategic planning, commercial partnering and stakeholder engagement, offering significant exposure to senior leadership across the organisation.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape strategy and support key business decisions.
• Provide insight and challenge through financial analysis, market trends and performance reporting.
• Evaluate new initiatives and investment opportunities.
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, resource allocation and business performance.
• Present financial performance and future outlook to key stakeholders.

• Applicants for the position will hold a full accountancy qualification and will ideally have exposure to working in a similar commercially focused role within a large complex organisation in addition to possessing a strong technical skill set. Individuals looking to make their first move out of Public Practice will also be considered.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills will be essential to undertake to the role successfully as will the ability to build effective working relationships with senior non-finance stakeholders throughout the business.

• The role will be predominantly office based with the successful applicant expected to attend the office 4 days a week.
