Client Payroll Manager

About the Role

As a Payroll Manager, you'll take ownership of processing for Bureaus and head office teams. You'll also get hands-on exposure to a variety of duties - from onboarding and employee record management to ensuring all benefits and pensions have been covered. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop a broader career in a Bureau industry within a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
• Manage payroll changes including new starters, leavers, and contract amendments.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation, pensions, and statutory payments.
• Reconcile payroll reports and liaise with Finance for payment approvals.
• Maintain employee records in the Sage Payroll and ensure data accuracy.
• End to end processing for a portfolio of clients

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a sole payroll position
• Experience with in the clients and bureau background
• A good understanding of payroll legislation and best practice.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience working end to end dealing with all queries
• Good communicator
