We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and detail‑focused Claims Assessor to join our Group Protection Claims team. Offering up to £42,000 depending on experience. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a proactive and high‑quality claims service, supporting customers and clients at important moments while ensuring fair and accurate outcomes.

• Assessing and triaging new Group Protection claims and identifying required evidence
• Managing claims end to end, making fair and accurate decisions on liability
• Authorising and processing claim payments within agreed authority levels
• Building and maintaining relationships with IFAs, employers and stakeholders
• Reviewing medical evidence and determining next steps in the claims process
• Supporting rehabilitation and return‑to‑work solutions where appropriate
• Using data and insight to support portfolio management and identify trends
• Ensuring service delivery meets quality, regulatory and customer expectations

• Experience in claims, Group protection is desirable
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make balanced decisions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
