Interim M&A Project Lead

Interim M&A Project Lead Sheffield | Hybrid £90,000 – £95,000 | 6 Month FTC Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a growing business in Sheffield to recruit an Interim M&A Project Lead for an initial 6-month contract. This is a key Group-level role supporting the business through a period of M&A activity, taking ownership of a number of work streams across acquisition, integration and wider finance projects.

Working closely with Group Finance, senior leadership and teams across the wider business, you’ll help ensure projects are well managed, key milestones are delivered and newly acquired businesses are successfully integrated into the Group. Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting M&A activity from a finance and project perspective Leading post-acquisition integration across Group entities Supporting Group reporting, consolidation and alignment of financial information Ensuring accounting policies, controls and processes are consistent across the Group Working with acquired businesses to align reporting structures, systems and ways of working Supporting financial due diligence and reviewing financial information relating to acquisitions Working across Finance, Operations, Commercial, Tax and other key functions Identifying risks, issues and dependencies throughout the integration process Managing project plans and providing regular updates to Group Finance and senior stakeholders Supporting wider Group finance transformation and improvement projects We’re looking for a qualified technical accountant with strong M&A, integration and Group finance experience.

You’ll need to be comfortable operating across multiple entities, working with senior stakeholders and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
