Position: FP&A Analyst

CMA Recruitment Group is working with an established and successful commercial business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire which is looking to appoint an experienced FP&A Analyst to join its finance team.  Operating across multiple markets, the business offers a fast-paced, commercially focused environment where finance plays an important role in supporting strategic decisions and driving performance.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team, gaining exposure to a broad range of financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities whilst working closely with key stakeholders across the business.

What will the FP&A Analyst role involve?

Supporting the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of monthly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Partnering with commercial teams to review sales forecasts and performance, helping identify opportunities and mitigate risks
Developing and maintaining financial models to support long-range planning, scenario analysis, and strategic evaluations
Contributing to the creation of reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive stakeholders, providing clear insights into business performance
Collaborating with regional teams and global finance to ensure compliance with planning standards and governance
Suitable Candidate for the FP&A Analyst vacancy:

3-5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar finance role within multi-regional or complex organisations
A degree in Finance or Accounting, with strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
Demonstrates high attention to detail, analytical mindset, and effective communication skills
Able to work collaboratively across functions and apply a strategic perspective
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
