Opening Paragraph:
Portsmouth NHS Trust is currently seeking three dedicated and experienced Band 5/6 Locum Audiologists to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within our dynamic audiology department, providing high-quality care to adult patients. If you are skilled in adult rehabilitation and ENT assessments and have experience working in the NHS or a similar healthcare system, we encourage you to apply.

Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.


Responsibilities:
As a Band 5/6 Locum Audiologist you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audiological assessments and providing rehabilitation services to adult patients. This includes performing diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and developing individualized treatment plans to address hearing and balance disorders. You will collaborate closely with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our audiology services.

Your role will also involve providing education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Audiology and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in adult rehabilitation and ENT assessments.
  • Strong clinical skills in audiological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in audiology.
