Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Evening and Weekend Care Professional to join our team in Portsmouth, United Kingdom. As a vital member of our care organization, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients during evening and weekend hours.

• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
• Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide support for continence care when needed
• Help with morning and evening routines
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring food safety guidelines are followed
• Accompany clients to appointments, social events, or outings
• Stimulate and encourage clients through various activities and hobbies
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients
• Document and report any changes in client's condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred but not required)
• Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
