Training and Requirements Lead – 6 month fixed‑term contract
Shape the future of immersive training solutions and take ownership of critical requirements delivery within a sophisticated simulation environment. This pivotal contract role allows you to influence the design and acceptance of high‑technology learning systems for critical security operations. You will join an innovative team where your expertise directly modernises capabilities for complex end users.
Essential requirements- Active Security Clearance and British nationality – we cannot hire without these
- Proven experience managing Training Needs Analysis within the defence sector
- Thorough understanding of Ministry of Defence Defence Systems Approach to Training methodology
- Strong background in requirements and acceptance management for simulation environments
- Background in project or programme management alongside a science, technology, engineering or mathematics degree
Due to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British Citizens who hold SC clearance or can obtain it.
What you will be doing- Leading Training Needs Analysis and producing comprehensive requirements documentation including user and system specifications
- Supporting project planning alongside acceptance activities to ensure efficient delivery of complex learning solutions
- Collaborating closely with engineering teams to oversee quality assurance and manage training design activities
- Representing the organisation at industry events and supporting business development proposals
- Practical experience working within defence simulation or immersive technology environments
- Technical capability to translate complex operational needs into clear statements of work
- Strong consultative skills with the ability to advise senior stakeholders and engineering teams
- Familiarity with organisational development or research and development initiatives
- This role is based in Portsmouth on a hybrid working pattern
