Are you an experienced Business Continuity professional looking to take ownership of an organisation‑wide resilience programme?
We're seeking a Business Continuity Manager to lead and evolve a mature Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), ensuring critical business services, technology platforms, and operational processes remain resilient in the face of disruption. This is a highly visible role working across technology, operations, risk, security, and executive leadership teams.
What You'll Be Doing- Own and continuously improve the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) aligned to ISO 22301
- Lead Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), recovery planning, and resilience governance activities
- Define and review Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs), and critical dependencies
- Design and run continuity exercises, crisis simulations, tabletop tests, and disaster recovery scenarios
- Assess organisational resilience against cyber incidents, technology outages, data breaches, and operational disruptions
- Deliver executive reporting on continuity readiness, maturity, risks, and remediation activities
- Support regulatory compliance across ISO 22301, ISO 27001, GDPR, and broader risk frameworks
- Partner with technology, security, service delivery, and business stakeholders to embed resilience across the organisation
- Drive supplier and third‑party continuity assurance activities
- 5+ years' experience in Business Continuity, Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Risk, or Operational Resilience
- Strong knowledge of ISO 22301 and Business Continuity best practices
- Proven experience leading Business Impact Assessments and continuity testing programmes
- Experience running crisis management exercises, incident simulations, and recovery planning activities
- Understanding of cyber resilience, operational risk, and technology recovery strategies
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level
- Experience with in a technology‑led, professional services, regulated, or complex operational environment
- ISO
22301 is absolutely essential, need training with it, lead implementor or lead auditor. You need to know ISO
22301 inside out. - Business Impact Analysis (BIA) is essential.
