Software Architect, AWS

Salary: £100, per year

• 3-5+ years in a Software Architect role
• Strong technical development background, having progressed through hands‑on engineering roles
• Experience operating within mature SaaS organisations, ideally B2B SaaS with high customer volumes
• Experience working with distributed and offshore teams
• Comfortable engaging at both strategic and detailed technical levels when required
• Deep understanding of modern Dev Ops practices and architecture patterns that support this
• Experience designing microservices
• Experience designing event‑driven architectures
• Experience developing software with cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
• Experience with a range of database technologies and practices including OLAP, OLTP, ETL, and Data Warehousing
• Experience with AI architecture

• Shape and deliver the next generation of customer‑facing platforms
• Work with our modern tech stack, including NestJS/NodeJS, Vue, Redis, SQL Server, and Snowflake
• Design large‑scale cloud‑first, high‑performance SaaS solutions to handle high data throughput and large datasets
• Create clean code and follow Dev Ops practices
• Engage with technical and strategic teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects
• Collaborate with distributed and offshore teams to achieve project goals
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and architecture patterns
