Early-Stage Fin Tech | Onsite 3–4 Days per Week
We’re working with a fast-growing fintech startup building mission-critical financial infrastructure. They’re early stage, well-funded, and moving quickly — which means they need a Support Engineer who’s comfortable being close to the product, the engineers, and the customers.
This is not a ticket-factory role. You’ll be embedded in the business, solving real problems and helping shape how support is done from the ground up.
What you’ll be doing- Acting as the first technical point of contact for customers
- Troubleshooting production issues across APIs, backend services, and integrations
- Working closely with engineering to diagnose bugs and improve reliability
- Writing and maintaining internal and external documentation
- Feeding customer insights directly back into product and engineering teams
- Experience in a technical support, support engineering, or SRE-adjacent role
- Strong understanding of web technologies (APIs, HTTP, logs, databases)
- Comfortable debugging issues rather than just escalating them
- Clear communicator — you can explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Happy working onsite 3–4 days per week in a fast-moving startup environment
- Fintech, payments, or financial systems experience
- SQL or scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Startup or scale-up background
