Senior Data Platform Engineer - Remote

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data / Platform Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team.

This is not a traditional Azure Data Engineering role
. They're looking for someone with genuine, hands-on experience building and managing data platforms
, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, security and reliability.

You'll be working across:

Databricks & Azure Synapse
Azure platform engineering
- ADLS, Key Vault, networking, RBAC & private endpoints
Infrastructure as Code - Pulumi, Terraform or Bicep
CI/CD - Git Hub Actions and/or Azure Dev Ops
Databricks workspace administration, Unity Catalog & governance
Monitoring & observability - Azure Monitor, Log Analytics & KQL
Python / PySpark and scalable data pipelines
Security, access management, automation and platform operations

We're particularly interested in engineers with experience across the broader data platform
, rather than those whose background is primarily focused on ADF or Synapse analytics.

If you enjoy building, automating and improving robust cloud data platforms
, this could be a great opportunity.
