Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our Kent-based client to recruit for a Buyer role. You will own the full purchasing process from receipt of order to delivery into my client, including supplier management, cost negotiation and inventory control.
The role requires 2-5 years in purchasing within manufacturing, familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, and strong numeracy with good Excel skills. You will monitor supplier performance and assist in sourcing new suppliers to drive savings.
