School Cleaner

About The Role

Days and hours:
Monday – Friday 16:00 – 18:00 (41 weeks per year – 39 weeks plus 2 weeks deep cleaning)

Hourly Rate – £12.71

Location:

Portsmouth, PO6 3YB

Although the role is for less than 52 weeks per year, your pay will be spread out evenly so you receive a payment every month.

• Dedicate your time on site to going the extra mile and seamlessly meeting the needs of Atlas’ clients.
• Inducted at the start of your contract; trained within your first week of work on how to deliver the cleaning specification and use equipment.
• Provide a high standard of customer care through your focus across different shift hours.
• Handle site-based equipment and cleaning materials (training provided).
• Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
• Empty litter bins into appropriate waste & recycling containers.
• Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all time.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Work within a team that goes the extra mile.

• An attitude to thrive and cleaning experience (or willingness to be fully trained).
• Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
• Basic spoken English for safety communication and interacting with the public and management.
• Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
• Right to work in the UK (must provide evidence).
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Two satisfactory references required.
