Audit Manager

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit engagements for a varied portfolio of clients in the Hampshire area.
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service delivery and identifying opportunities for new business.
  • Plan, control, and complete audit assignments efficiently and in line with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members to aid their development and performance.
  • Review audit work for accuracy and compliance before final submission.
  • Produce high‑quality reports and documentation in a fully digital audit environment.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support firm‑wide goals and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Proven experience in leading audit engagements in a practice environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of audit software (experience with Inflo or similar is advantageous).
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver work within time and budget constraints.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a digital‑first, paperless audit environment.
  • Background in commercial audit work is desirable.
