The Role:Support the development, administration, and delivery of Transnational Education (TNE) programmes at the University of Portsmouth working within the newly established TNE Academic Partnerships Office. Working closely with international partners and internal teams, the role holder will ensure the effective coordination and administration of TNE initiatives, contributing to the University’s global engagement strategy with a focus on extending the university’s academic global reach.
The role will also support the TNE Partnership Manager and the Director of Academic Partnerships in maintaining strong relationships with partners and ensuring compliance with quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held during the week commencing 14 September 2026.
This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 01 November 2027 (or the earlier return of the substantive post holder) to cover a period of maternity leave

New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
