CNC Turner​/Setter

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner / Setter to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist with a strong background in CNC turning to contribute to the production of high-quality, close-tolerance components in a professional manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components
Work within a machine shop environment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Read and make adjustments to existing CNC programs
Use a range of precision measuring instruments to maintain tight tolerances
Manage day-to-day machining tasks to ensure smooth workflow and output
Complete production and quality documentation
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Essential

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Setter
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Confident using precision measuring equipment
Experience working with Fanuc-controlled machines (or similar)
Live tooling experience desirable

Additional Experience (Advantageous):

Experience working with sub-spindle machines
Experience using other CNC machines such as mills or EDM
