MoveATech is recruiting a skilled CNC Miller / Setter to join a precision engineering production facility in Portsmouth. This role is suited to an experienced machinist with strong expertise in CNC milling operations, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality precision parts.

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Bridgeport / Heidenhain controls)

* Work within a machine shop environment adhering to safety and quality standards

* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

* Use precision measuring instruments to maintain tight tolerances

* Manage day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth production workflow

* Complete production and quality logs accurately

* Maintain clear communication within the team and management

Essential Skills and Experience

* Proven experience in CNC milling

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

* Competent in the use of precision measuring equipment

* Experience with Heidenhain CNC controls

Desirable Experience

* Experience with other CNC machines such as lathes and EDMs

Additional Information

* Night shift work required; 33% night shift allowance will be applied
