MoveATech is recruiting a skilled CNC Turner / Setter to join a well-established production facility based in Portsmouth. This role is suited to an experienced machinist with a strong background in CNC turning and Fanuc-controlled lathes, working within a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes to produce precision components

* Read, understand, and adjust existing CNC programs

* Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

* Use precision measuring equipment to maintain tight tolerances

* Ensure work is completed in line with quality and safety standards

* Complete production and quality documentation accurately

* Support day-to-day manufacturing operations within the machine shop

Essential Skills and Experience

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Setter

* Strong knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Competent with precision measuring instruments

* Good communication skills

Desirable Experience

* Live tooling

* Sub-spindle experience

* Experience with CNC mills and/or EDM machines
