Overview
our client a leading high speed craft and aluminium ship builder is looking for multiple Aluminium Welders with Mig experience.
Ltd, 40 hour a week contract with the potential for overtime.
ResponsibilitiesAluminum MIG Welding: Produce strong, clean MIG welds on aluminum structures used in marine applications.
Fabrication & Assembly: Fit, tack, and assemble aluminum parts including hull sections, frames, decks, and bulkheads.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and build plans accurately.
Equipment Operation: Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment, including wire changes and machine tuning.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Inspect welds to ensure they meet marine industry standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
Finishing & Prep: Grind, smooth, and clean welded areas using hand and power tools to achieve proper surface finish.
- Previous experience in a Marine or Heavy industry prefered.
- previous codings desired however the company will also provide these.
