CNC Operator / Machinist

Pay: £14.00-£19.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Temp to perm (Contract length: 2 months)

Shift

Schedule:

Double Day Shift (rotating weekly) or Night Shift, Monday to Friday.

• Double Day Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm (rotating weekly)
• Night Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am, Monday to Friday

• Carrying out set production tasks to required standards
• Confirming product quality and ensuring specifications are met
• Packaging finished products in line with instructions
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment
• Reporting any concerns or issues to supervision
• Complying with all health & safety procedures
• Designing and manufacturing jigs and fixtures when required (desirable)
• Establishing and maintaining standard production times (desirable)
• Programming CNC machines when required (desirable)
• Setting up manual machining jobs (desirable)
• Planning work within the 2nd Operations machining area alongside the Supervisor

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator / Machinist
• Ability to programme, set, and operate CNC machinery
• Experience with in a manufacturing or moulding environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
