Manufacturing Technician
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to work a Double Day Shift pattern in Portsmouth.
IntroductionThe primary role of the Manufacturing Technician will be to run large complex computerised equipment, logging results and data and working to achieve high quality standards.
Responsibilities- Running, setting and operating large complex machinery
- Loading of materials to ensure steady stream of production
- Work to high quality standard to produce the products
- Work to the site's health and safety procedures
- Participates in 5S methodology and ensures work areas are clean, tidy and HSE compliant
Although full training will be provided due to the complexity of the machines and controls, the Manufacturing Technician will need to have previous manufacturing/production experience, a good level of computer literacy, and a can‑do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Any previous experience or knowledge of engineering drawings or manufacturing experience would be ideal.
The equipment used on site is semi‑automated and has computerised controls, the machines and robots are set up, monitored and run by the Technicians and work to high quality standards. There is a lot of computerised controls and touch screens involved for this role.

Salary Including Shift Allowance – £33,800

:
Early Shift 06.00 – 14.00, Late Shift 14.00 – 10.00
