Production Manager

Infinity Employment is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to join a manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain high-quality standards, and drive productivity and cost optimization while leading a skilled team in a fast-paced electronics environment. To manage all production functions from kitting to the production line, ensuring the manufacturing plan is executed efficiently daily.
To manage the production team daily. To ensure the production facility is in line with 5S standards and H&S practices adhered to for a safe working environment.
Create a flexible team to enable required output is achieved even in event of unplanned absences.

This role will be reporting to the Operations Director, working alongside the Purchasing Manager, Warehouse Manager, Quality and H/S Manager
Salary £38,000-£40,000 per year
Responsibilities:
 
* Overseeing manufacturing and production processe
 
* Execute the daily manufacturing schedule
 * Ensure customer orders are completed maintaining the companies OTP & OTR targets
 * Ensure all finished goods are booked into the system in line with process
 * Striving to reduce expenses and increase efficiency across all production lines
 * Identify opportunities to improve processes to increase productivity, for example through lean manufacturing.
 * Liaise across other teams and departments to ensure a smooth execution of all operations processes
 * Maintaining 5S & Health and Safety standards
 * Monitoring efficiency rates, standards & quality control
 * Training/ multi skilling operators
   Work with other managers to ensure that production strategies align with the companies’ policies and goals
Essential skills/experience:
 
* At least 5 years' experience managing a fast-moving production operation
 
* Hands on person
 
* Suitable Mgt. qualification
 
* Demonstrated effective planning skills
 
* Excellent written and oral communication
 
* Microsoft Office competent
 
* Positive can-do attitude
Desirable skill
 
* Understanding of LEAN & 5S
