Assembly Operative - Reading
Location:
Reading
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team based in Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is looking to develop their experience within an electrical and mechanical assembly environment.
Role- Carrying out electrical and mechanical assembly work
- Assembling electrical and mechanical components accurately to instructions and specifications
- Using a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment
- Working with small components and parts
- Following drawings, work instructions and manufacturing procedures
- Carrying out basic quality checks on completed assemblies
- Have experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Are comfortable carrying out precise, hands-on assembly work
- Have a reliable and positive attitude
- Are able to work the 2:30pm - 11:00pm Monday to Friday shift
- Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
