We are looking for a Registered Band 4 Dental Nurse to join our busy Maxillofacial Department. The role involves assisting Consultants and clinicians across all specialities—Oral Surgery, Maxillofacial, Restorative, and Orthodontics—on a rotational basis. The ideal candidate is an excellent team member and communicator, self‑motivated, and caring.
Key Responsibilities- Provide and maintain high standards of care for all patients, including those with physical disabilities and complex medical conditions such as cancer.
- Liaise and support the multidisciplinary team in a flexible and friendly manner.
- Provide patient support and maintain high standards of assistance, including treatment and care, adhering to hospital and dental nursing procedures.
- Prepare surgeries, maintaining a professional approach and ensuring necessary instruments and equipment are ready and compliant with department requirements.
- Clean and care for instruments, maintaining Trust infection control standards.
- Registered Dental Nurse with GDC
- Experience in all clinical aspects of Dental Nursing
- Experience in Oral Surgery, advanced restorative dentistry, and orthodontics.
- Hospital experience or previous experience caring for cancer patients (preferred but not essential).
