Job Overview
Full-time and Part-time Positions Available. Frimley Park Hospital is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for passionate and dedicated midwives to join our expanding Community Midwifery Team. Hybrid working within the unit would be considered. Our service operates across five modern maternity hubs, stretching from Bracknell to Farnham, and we proudly support the care of around 6,000 women each year. We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated midwives who are eager to contribute to the ongoing development of our innovative Maternity Hub model and deliver high-quality, personalised care to our families.

- The successful candidate will join a Community Midwifery Team working closely with colleagues in a supportive, caring and learning environment.
- They will support students and liaise closely with other members of the wider team providing excellent evidence-based care to women from a diverse multicultural background.
- They will provide antenatal and postnatal care for women in the Community Hub, hospital or home settings, facilitating informed choice and being involved in the development of a personalised pathway.
- We promote home births and have an on call service to support the Continuity Homebirth team.
- Experience of working in the Community with experience of homebirth is advantageous.

Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria- Current on the NMC register
- Diploma/BSc in Midwifery Studies
- Registered Nurse
- Qualified mentor / PSPA / SLIP
- Be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the 6 C’s
- Able to demonstrate awareness of research related to midwifery practice
- Has completed preceptorship
- Has participated in undertaking midwifery research and audit
- Demonstrates excellent written and presentation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload effectively
- Knowledge of clinical governance processes/ risk management
