Working as an emergency Vet Surgeon will expose you to an interesting range of cases that you simply won’t see in general practice.

Working out of a modern purpose-built building, a Vet Surgeon at Vets Now Portsmouth will benefit from the ongoing mentorship from our Principal Vet, and there is a strong support network.

In this part-time role, the rota will typically include the below on a 4-week rolling rota, plus a fair share of bank holidays:

• Week 1:
  Monday and Tuesday nights 1900 – 0830
• Week 2:
  Saturday day 1200 – 1930
• Week 3:
  Monday and Tuesday nights 1900 – 0830
• Week 4:
  Saturday day 1200 – 1930 and Sunday night 1900 – 1930

How many of the available shifts to be worked can be discussed further, we will try to work with you to find a rota that fits around your and clinic requirements.
