Portsmouth Solent Vets for Pets RVN vacancy

Portsmouth Solent Vets for Pets has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an established friendly team. We are a forward‑thinking practice that has proudly delivered quality care to all our patients, clients and community since 1997.

Our nurses are truly valued, and we encourage our team to run regular nurse clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures where they feel confident. Portsmouth Solent Vets offers a varied caseload that includes theatre, assistance and carrying out dental procedures, inpatient care, consulting and other responsibilities. The rota ensures variety and balance, giving genuine job satisfaction (1/4 Saturdays – closed on Sundays).

We are a 100% small animal practice with excellent facilities, including a K‑Laser for nurse‑led clinics. We have high‑quality equipment: multi‑parameter monitors, ultrasound, an in‑house Idexx laboratory, digital X‑ray (including dental), endoscope, tonopen, blood‑pressure machine, syringe driver, infusion pumps and more. We also have dedicated dog, cat and isolation wards and run a full range of nurse‑led clinics daily. We encourage CPD, and several of our nurses hold extra certifications.
