Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer

Mon - Fri 8am-4pm
A leading precision engineering business serving sectors such as aerospace, automotive, defence, and motor sport is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join its high-performing team. The company prides itself on delivering exceptional quality through its ISO 9001 : 2015-certified processes and advanced engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and program CMM equipment to inspect precision components.
- Conduct detailed dimensional inspection using manual measurement equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.).
- Support the management and continual improvement of the companys quality management system (QMS).
- Produce accurate inspection reports and documentation in line with customer and internal standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation when required.
- Proven experience in CMM operation and programming
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Experience maintaining and supporting a QMS in a precision engineering environment.
