Quality Inspector – Portsmouth

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality products to customers across regulated industries.

This role is key to ensuring all products meet strict quality standards before leaving the production area, helping to prevent defects and maintain compliance with industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portsmouth

* Carry out shopfloor inspections, ensuring products meet customer specifications and industry standards (e.g. AS9100, MIL standards)

* Verify compliance with internal quality procedures and external regulations

* Use a range of measuring tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure components meet required tolerances

* Record inspection results and update quality systems accordingly

* Raise and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs)

* Communicate inspection findings with production and quality teams to drive improvements

Skills & Experience:

- Portsmouth

* Previous experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment

* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

* Experience working to industry standards such as AS9100, MIL or IPC

* Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement techniques

* Ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality

* Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use initiative
