One Retail, a subsidiary of Compass Group, is recruiting a Barista to create beautifully crafted drinks for a major high‑street brand. The position is part‑time, contracted to 13.3 hours per week with a 3‑out‑of‑7 day shift pattern. You will use your skills to deliver first‑class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. • Shift pattern: 3 out of 7 days per week.

• Role is advertised for one year.

• Prepare perfectly blended drinks and serve high‑quality food that delights customers.
• Maintain a clean bar area and manage stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Process payments (cash and credit cards) accurately.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and an excellent communicator.
• Learn and apply brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Check brewing equipment for proper operation and report maintenance needs.
• Represent M&S and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

• Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships.
• Have previous experience in customer service.
• Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner.
• Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers.
• Have hands‑on experience with brewing equipment.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
• Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
