About THE ROLE
The Supervisor is responsible for delivering high‑quality customer service, sales performance, and profitability while fostering a positive store environment and leading the team through example and inspiration.
- Ensure the efficient running of the shop floor to achieve the highest levels of customer service, sales and profit.
- Support the management team in managing all personnel, product, merchandising functions, business processes and results for the store.
- Participate in weekly management and staff meetings.
- Clearly communicate marketing and sales promotions to staff.
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team and providing an exemplary store journey.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and colleagues fairly and consistently.
- Support the team in delivering the business strategy, ensuring consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance.
- Achieve company standards for personal sales results: sales vs. budget, sales per hour and units per transaction.
- Perform manager‑on‑duty functions, manage store opening/closing and sales floor operations.
- Focus staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal & external customers.
- Ensure staff accountability in building a repeat customer base while providing unparalleled, spirited service.
- Maintain visual merchandising best practices on the sales floor and back room.
- Collaborate with management to build a talent pool for key positions, including potential successors.
- Previous supervisory or specialist experience within a premium or luxury brand.
- People‑management experience with conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships easily.
- Team player who recognizes and celebrates others’ contributions and achievements.
- Confidence in giving constructive feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
- Adaptability to change and ability to work at pace.
- Energetic and authentic presence on the shop floor.
- Proactive, can‑do approach, taking initiative to find in‑store solutions.
