* Job Summary:
** You will form part of the WSS UK/I sales team with principal responsibility of Rental sales Southern Region.
* ** Exploring our (potential) customer’s needs
** and presenting our products & solutions to fit these needs.
* ** High Tier 1 contractor and Utilities knowledge
** and relationship development.

* ** Achieving the agreed sales plan
** through proactive recruiting of new customers and recommending (new) products, solutions and services to existing customer’s needs .
* Planning and developing market opportunities
** and identifying and realizing up- & cross-selling opportunities**
* ** Liaising with clients and contacts
** in the network.
** Ensuring optimum customer satisfaction**.
* ** Retrieving market information
** for Rental product, Solutions - and strategic development.
*** Core Responsibilities

*** Acquires, develops and manages existing customers and new prospects.
* Builds and maintains a strong network with clients and different stakeholders.
* High Tier 1 contractor knowledge and relationship building.
* Initiates sales processes by scheduling appointments with both clients and prospects.
* Gains the customer's trust by listening, being responsive to customer requests and issues, and demonstrating commitment to the customer’s success.
* Demonstrates a clear understanding of who the decision-makers are, and leverages factors that drive their buying decisions on a personal as well as on business levels.
* Identifies needs and advises customers regarding solutions that are at or beyond their expectations.
* Prepares and follows up quotations and tenders.
* Links new and existing products/solutions and/or service & rental offerings to specific customer needs, conveys compelling value propositions that differentiate from those of competitors, and uses selling approaches appropriate for the account and business context.
* Keeps the customer informed of changes and developments in the field.
* Manages and respects the existing customer funneling strategy for both direct customers and indirect channels (such as service partners and distributors).**(Policy) Development
*** Identifies market potential and qualifying accounts. Prioritizes accounts based on change, potential and segmentation in a strategic sales plan and account planning.
* Assists in the collection of strategic market information by tracking competitors' products/solutions and customer response, and act on this.
* Identifies trends in the market, both technically and commercially and responds to them.
** Order / Sales goals
*** Meets and ideally exceeds sales results by achieving the expected personal and branch/country/regional sales targets.
* Is assertive and focused on the sales process, responds quickly to opportunities, and implements countermeasures when sales execution deviates from plan.
* Demonstrates an ongoing curiosity about technical and sales developments in the field as well as in relevant industry segments to keep an up-to-date sales and technical professional knowledge.
* Acquires and retains technical knowledge of our new and/or existing water solutions to ensure our customer gets the perfect technical solutions for his/her water problem.
* Strictly keeps proper records in the CRM: including opportunities, contracts, e-mail handling, customer relations management, tenders and quotations.
* Works with third party contractors to explore mutual benefits and reasonable options to achieve all parties (contractor, end user, Xylem)…
