Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Manager to support the Sales Manager in a fast‑paced and dynamic sales department. The focus is on achieving and exceeding sales targets while maximising profit, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and fostering repeat business. The role offers a competitive market‑leading salary with an OTE of £60,000 and the potential to exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily reviews of enquiry activities to ensure each opportunity is fully exploited and a follow‑up strategy is in place.
- Participate in daily briefings, keeping the Sales Manager and team updated on departmental actions and activities.
- Manage each customer enquiry from start to finish, supporting the Sales Manager in leading the team and maintaining a robust process for every opportunity.
- Play an integral role in the customer experience.
- Construct the customer deal, including the sale of finance solutions, value‑added products, and service plans, ensuring an efficient and profitable contribution to the retailer.
- Assist the team in identifying customer needs and coaching them to use effective questioning and listening techniques.
- Confirm any financial settlement on all vehicles taken in part exchange and arrange settlement on completion.

- Previous Showroom Manager, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong drive to produce results and motivate others.
- Understanding of all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations (full training provided).
- Exceptional customer relationship skills and negotiating ability.
- Effective time‑management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Customer service champion who exceeds expectations in every element of the Hendy experience.
- Confident Excel user.
- Automotive industry or vehicle sales experience preferred.
- FCA accreditation beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence.
Successful candidates will be subject to appropriate pre‑employment checks, including right‑to‑work verification and DBS checks.
