The Client Services Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key Defence Contractor and Prime customers. This role involves overseeing customer contracts, strengthening strategic partnerships, and driving the growth of VBSE's presence and revenue across assigned accounts. The successful candidate will nurture existing relationships, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and leverage Vodafone's extensive portfolio of solutions to deliver value and support customer objectives.
Whatyou’ll do
- Be the lead Client Services Manager within Defence Contractors/Primes, and accountable for coaching and mentoring the other Client Services Managers.
- Manage a diverse range of stakeholders across the customer base and internally within Vodafone, acting as part of the escalation process, implementing and managing local contingency plans to deal with internal/external business issues that impact upon revenue, cost and margin.
- Deliver sales briefings remotely, at a Vodafone Secure Site or at customer premises within the United Kingdom being capable and credible to present to senior customer stakeholders.
- Keep ahead of industry trends and client needs to anticipate and address potential challenges in acquisition activities, and use this data to continually develop the Defence Strategy
- Build a qualified pipeline across the Defence portfolio.
- Exceed Net Promoter Scores (NPS) targets for all customers.
- Produce account development plans, opportunity close plans, prepare customer proposals and manage the full lifecycle of the sale from won to transition and into delivery and beyond.
- Strong communication skills to guide, influence and convince others (including customers, partners and third parties).
- Excellent external communication is required (up to CxO level).
- Negotiation skills internally and externally at senior levels.
- Judgement based on analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or new situations.
- Expert knowledge on the Defence sector in order to articulate Defence requirements into technical outputs.
