Car Sales Executive

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Car Sales Executive in Portsmouth, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a reputable prestige dealership within a well-established automotive group. The Car Sales Executive role offers a competitive salary, uncapped commission, and exceptional career progression opportunities.

Car Sales Executive Duties:

• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual vehicle sales targets
• Maximise profitability on vehicle sales, including GAP, warranty, and finance products
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty
• Develop comprehensive product knowledge covering all models, accessories, and features
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, promoting the dealership reputation
• Effectively manage customer appointments, follow-ups, and prospecting to maximise sales opportunities
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience in car sales or transferable sales skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to plan and organise self to meet deadlines and sales targets
• Strong organisational skills to manage customer appointments and follow-ups
• Initiative and proactive approach to prospecting new customers
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
• Confidence in product knowledge and industry standards
